The future of the NBA is in good hands after the highly-anticipated contest between Cooper Flagg and Bronny James became the fourth-most watched Summer League game of all time. On Thursday, Flagg and James matched up on several occasions during the Dallas Mavericks’ 87-85 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers — much to the enjoyment of the sold-out crowd gathered at Thomas & Mack Center.

On the first attempt, Bronny ended up fouling Flagg, so the Mavericks had the ball to inbound on the sideline. The ESPN cameras zoomed in on the Lakers' second-year guard and the Dallas No. 1 overall pick having a quick conversation.
