Miami quarterback Carson Beck is throwing the football again. Beck, who couldn’t throw the ball at all during spring camp with the Hurricanes because he was still recovering from elbow surgery, posted a brief Instagram video on Wednesday of himself attempting a pass.

The biggest of all, though, was landing former Georgia Bulldogs QB Carson Beck, who was among the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy a year ago. An elbow injury late in the season cut his year short of the College Football Playoff appearance, but instead of heading off to the NFL draft, Beck chose to enter the portal and join Miami.

Carson Beck is looking healthy as he prepares for his first season with Miami. In his final game with Georgia, the quarterback was injured just before halftime of the SEC Championship Game. That ended up being a UCL injury that would require surgery,
