Tyler Sabapathy, 18, died Tuesday after falling from a pole during wild celebrations in Center City after the Philadelphia Eagles won the NFC title game.

A Temple University student died from his injuries after falling from a light pole as Eagles fans celebrated the team’s Super Bowl berth over the weekend, a source confirmed with NBC.

Temple University announced the death of Tyler Sabapathy, 18, in a statement posted Tuesday night on the school's website.

Tyler Sabapathy, 18, was a first-year student at Temple University. He died after falling in Center City Sunday night, sources said.
