Korean infielder Kim Hye-seong is set to enter the star-studded MLB stage after joining the Los Angeles Dodgers under a three-year deal worth $12.5 million with an option to extend for two more years.

Korean infielder Hyeseong Kim has signed a deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers, reports The Athletic. Multiple outlets from South Korea have the deal in the area of three years and $22 million. Word of the contract comes just hours before the deadline for Kim to sign with an MLB team or return to South Korea's KBO.

The Dodgers on Friday agreed to terms on a three-year contract with infielder Hyeseong Kim of the KBO League, according to multiple reports. Daniel Kim of ESPN was first to report the news. The deal reportedly has the option for an additional two years.

The Los Angeles Dodgers signed Korean Baseball Organization star Hye-seong Kim to a three-year deal on January 3. He would presumably take over as the team's everyday second baseman. That could mean the Dodgers no longer need one of their longtime starters.
