A 61-year-old man from Cinnaminson, New Jersey, died after being struck by lightning in Jackson Township on Wednesday. Robert Montgomery, of Burlington County, lived with his dogs and loved teaching archery.
The victim he fell in love with archery at a young age participated in numerous competitions dating back to the 1970s, his sister said.
The bolt struck local archers and a boy scout troop in New Jersey, killing one man and injuring 13 other people. Friends of the victims said the strike had come out of nowhere.
