At the time, the fast-food giant's corporate team wanted to speed up back-of-house operations and felt that the time it took employees to assemble the chicken, lettuce, shredded cheddar and Monterrey cheese and choice of customer sauce in a tortilla wrap could be better redirected to a simpler menu of classics.

On July 10, McDonald's Snack Wraps returned to the menu with two varieties available for $2.99. Local Houston customers will once again be able to order Snack Wraps, which are offered on the lunch menu. Mind ur business if you see me at McDonalds tomorrow ordering 20 snack wraps….
