The National Weather Service released an updated flash flood warning at 4:42 p.m. on Monday in effect until 7:45 p.m. for Dauphin, Lancaster and York counties.

Garnet Valley High School is recovering from significant flood damage after a powerful thunderstorm hit Delaware County, Pennsylvania, last week. Wednesday's storm left multiple areas of the building under water and disrupted several summer programs.

At 2:22 a.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service released an updated flood watch valid from 2 p.m. until Tuesday midnight for Franklin, Perry, Dauphin, Lebanon, Cumberland, Adams, York and Lancaster counties.

A flood watch was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 1:44 p.m. valid for Monday between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. for Berks, Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties.

The reopening coincides with the restaurant's 75th anniversary. Hank's Place opened as a roadside eatery in 1950. That first location — a "tiny little place," in the words of co-owner Anthony Young — was washed away in a flood.
