President Donald Trump says his administration is considering taxpayer rebates as the White House says tariffs have raked in over $100 billion.

The Education Department accused Virginia school districts of discrimination. The charges: The Trump administration said five Virginia school districts that allow transgender students to use facilities aligned with their gender identity violate the law.

The White House is seeking fines from several universities it says failed to stop antisemitism on campus, including Harvard University, in exchange for restoring federal funding, a Trump administration official said on Friday.

According to a Thursday court declaration filed in the Northern District of California, the administration sought the go-ahead to lay people off at 17 agencies, including the departments of the Treasury, State, Interior, Agriculture, Labor, Commerce, Housing  and Urban Development, and Health and Human Services.
