It has been an incredible year for former WVU center Zach Frazier. After being selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in April’s NFL Draft, Frazier went on to be a critical force on the Steelers’ offensive line.

When the Pittsburgh Steelers selected Zach Frazier with the 51st overall pick of April’s draft, it marked the highest the team had selected a center since Maurkice Pouncey 14 years prior. Frazier joined Pouncey as a Steelers rookie of the year.

Two Steelers stars earned awards from the Pittsburgh Chapter of Pro Football Writers of America. Center Zach Frazier won the Joe Greene Great Performance Award, given to the Steelers’ top rookie. Frazier is only the second Steelers center to win the award,
