Disney’s Mufasa, the latest installment in its enduringly popular Lion King franchise, is headed to streaming. The new movie is both a sequel and a prequel to 2019’s The Lion King, a “live-action” remake of the venerable 1994 cartoon.

Mufasa: The Lion King has confirmed its Disney+ streaming release date. The film, which acts as a prequel to the franchise and follows the younger Mufasa, came out in cinemas last year. Following a digital release last month, it has now been announced that the movie will hit Disney+ on March 26.
