Arch Manning explained exactly what his motivation was after high school to attend Texas when he could've gone elsewhere.

Manning, the highly touted quarterback from the famed Manning family, said Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian played a key role in his decision. “Coach Sark just told me to be myself and be a leader and work hard, and it’ll all work out,” Manning said.

Manning understands the level of attention and scrutiny that comes with his family’s last name, but says he hasn’t done enough to earn his current stardom.
