There has been a second strong connection made between the New York Jets and Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn made. As the Jets' search for a new head coach slowly unfolds, links between Glenn and New York continue to strengthen.

Glenn has been a name long tied to the Jets for their open head coaching role. He previously served as a scout for the team after a Pro Bowl-filled career with the Jets. Glenn has recently helped fix the Detroit Lions ' defense into one of the most fearsome in the league once again.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, ESPN's NFL insider Adam Schefter discussed Vrabel's return to the franchise and indicated that executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf was going to report to Vrabel. In short, as Schefter put it, "Vrabes is the man," in New England, when McAfee asked about the front-office hierarchy.
