Conner Smith, a Nashville-born singer, faces a misdemeanor citation for his involvement in a June 8 crash in Nashville that killed Dorothy Dobbins.

The Metro Nashville Police Department shared a press release Thursday about Conner Smith's misdemeanor traffic citation following a fatal June car accident.

J ust last month, on June 8, country music star Conner Smith was driving his pickup truck through his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. He was back in town to perform for the CMA Fest. Tragically, he struck a 77-year-old woman named Dorothy Dobbins, who had been attempting to cross the street in a crosswalk.
