Joby Aviation has doubled the size and production capacity of its pilot manufacturing facility in Marina, California as it races to commercialize electric air taxis by early next year.

Joby stock continued its rally into Thursday after the electric air taxi maker on Tuesday announced plans to expand operations. Fellow eVTOL maker Archer Aviation is surging. Defense contractor Karman HoldingsKRMN also scrambled higher.
