As the Golden State Warriors end a hard-fought season, a story is brewing behind the scenes regarding young swingman Jonathan Kuminga. According to the latest intel out of San Francisco, head coach Steve Kerr and Kuminga are at odds over his habit of overlooking Stephen Curry (and other Warriors teammates) in favor of creating his own shot.

On Wednesday, ahead of the game, San Francisco Standard's Tim Kawakami gave an updated report of Kuminga's future with the club.

Kuminga has lit up the Wolves the last two games, providing the Warriors with some much-needed offensive juice while Steph Curry sits out with a hamstring injury. The 22-year-old has been so explosive that Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch compared him to Anthony Edwards.

A proposed sign-and-trade could send Jonathan Kuminga to Charlotte in exchange for key assets to the Warriors.
