Mortal Kombat II is an upcoming American martial arts fantasy film directed by Simon McQuoid and written by Jeremy Slater. A sequel to the 2021 Mortal Kombat, it continues the story based on the video game series by Ed Boon and John Tobias.

Warner Bros. has finally unveiled the new trailer for Mortal Kombat II, the sequel to its 2021 video game adaptation. It stars Karl Urban as B-movie star Johnny Cage, and the character is front and center in this new clip.

While the original “Mortal Kombat” movie introduced several of the iconic fighting video game’s characters, the sequel adds quite a few more familiar faces. “The Boys” star Karl Urban joins the cast as Johnny Cage, a Hollywood playboy who’s one of the most famous human characters in the “Mortal Kombat” franchise.
