A New Hampshire police officer who was shot in the leg during a struggle with a man who allegedly tried to take the officer’s gun was released from the hospital on Sunday and will recover at home, officials said.

A man is facing multiple charges in Bedford after he allegedly fled police and attempted to steal an officer's gun, leading to the officer being shot. Jared Masseur, 40, with a last known address in Nashua,
