A police transcript says the man accused of setting a woman on fire inside a New York City subway told detectives that he had no recollection of the fatal attack

Sebastian Zapeta-Calil repeatedly told detectives he had no memory of an attack that killed a woman who was set ablaze on the New York City subway train he was riding the morning of December 22, according to court documents.

The man accused of killing a woman by setting her on fire on a New York City subway car last month pleaded not guilty to murder charges Tuesday and was ordered held without bail.
