Colbert, who already has 10 Emmys to his name, was previously honored for "The Colbert Report" on Comedy Central and his most recent win for his special, audaciously titled "Stephen Colbert's Election Night 2020: Democracy's Last Stand: Building Back America Great Again Better 2020."

"Next year will be our last season,” the late-night talk show host announced Thursday, July 17. "The network will be ending 'The Late Show’ next May."

CBS announced on Thursday that 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert' would end in 2026, but the timing, coincidental or not, comes as Paramount tries to sell itself to Skydance.
