DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Kyle Busch and Jeff Gordon were both critical of Joey Logano’s actions before a multi-car crash late in Sunday night’s Daytona 500. Eight cars were collected in the incident, which brought out the caution on Lap 187 of the 202-lap race.
Kyle Busch was knocked out of the race in a multi-car accident, and he placed blame squarely on Joey Logano. A victory Sunday would have ended Busch’s long winless streak in stock car racing’s most important event. Busch said he was frustrated by the way NASCAR officials dealt with his damaged car.
