A protest in Manhattan has become the latest in the US to target a Tesla site amid Elon Musk's continued DOGE role in Donald Trump's administration
Six protesters were arrested at a Tesla showroom in Manhattan on Saturday, cops said. Video posted to social media showed one demonstrator being dragged out of the Washington Street showroom by police, and the glass door of the facility appeared to be shattered.
These destructive acts have included a man allegedly targeting an Oregon dealership with Molotov cocktails, thousands being caused in damage from an overnight shooting in Oregon’s Tigard, charging stations being set ablaze in Littleton, Massachusetts, “no Musk” and a “swastika-like symbol” being spray painted on a Maryland facility, and more.
Participants in the rally, held a half-block from the Javits Center, aimed to call attention to the organization’s support for the “Trump-Musk alliance.”
