The current assistant for the Seattle Seahawks is one of the candidates interviewing for the Cowboys head coach position.

Like Johnson, the Cowboys never even showed the slightest bit of interest in Glenn, which is somewhat strange. Glenn, who was a longtime cornerback in the NFL, played in Dallas under Bill Parcells. Considering they knew him well, it seemed as though they would at least want to have a conversation with Glenn.

Leslie Frazier has been on staff with 8 NFL clubs and owns 2 Super Bowl rings. The Cowboys are said to be interviewing him next week.

Fox Sports insider Jay Glazer reported that Tennessee State head coach Eddie George is set to interview for the Chicago Bears' head coaching position on Sunday morning. This interview marks a surprising development in the NFL coaching carousel.

Dallas Cowboys Nation. The head coaching carousel is continuing to turn with another big name off of the board. The Chicago Bears hired Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson to get the ball rolling.

For some of those teams, that will involve finding new head coaches and/or General Managers. Three teams fired their head coaches during the season and two more have been dispatched as of 9 a.m. ET on January 6.

The Dallas Cowboys head coaching search hasn't instilled any faith that the organization has a plan going forward.

With Glenn going to New York, Johnson heading to Chicago and Mike Vrabel already in New England, four head coaching vacancies remain. The Saints, Jaguars, Raiders and Cowboys are still in the hunt. Johnson, who was Detroit’s offensive coordinator, picked the Bears on Monday, two days after the No. 1 seeded Lions lost to Washington.

The Cowboys interviewed Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who played for the team and then served as Dak Prescott’s play-caller for four seasons. Dallas also interviewed former Jets coach Robert Saleh and former Vikings coach Leslie Frazier.
