Less than a year after leaving the Dallas Police Department, Eddie Garcia has been named one of five finalists to become the next police chief in Fort Worth, sources confirm to FOX 4.

The candidate list is out for the new leader of the Fort Worth Police Department. It includes at least one very familiar name – former Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia.

Of the 51 applicants, nine were interviewed in the semi-finalist round with four selected to move forward as finalists.
