Before Andor ’s first episode even premiered, Star Wars fans already knew Cassian Andor’s fate. And yet, his 24-episode journey from a lowly smuggler to a hero of the Rebellion was still the greatest Star Wars story told on screen since Rogue One in 2018. You know, the last time we saw Cassian Andor.

I wanted to have something hopeful at the end of this. We’re punishing a lot of people in this show,” Gilroy said.

"It's not lost on me that Tony Gilroy has literally written me into Star Wars history," says the star, who formed a close bond with Stellan Skarsgård during production.

After wrapping up the main storyline last week, the final three episodes of Andor deal with loose ends while giving some backstory to one of the show's main characters.
