MELVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — MELVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — MSC Industrial Direct Co. (MSM) on Wednesday reported fiscal first-quarter net income of $46.6 million. The Melville, New York-based company said it had net income of 83 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs, came to 86 cents per share.

Earnings: -$30.6 million in Q2 vs. $23.8 million in the same period last year. EPS: -$0.87 in Q2 vs. $0.67 in the same period last year. Excluding items, AAR Corp reported adjusted earnings of $32.3 million or $0.

AAR (AIR) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.90 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.83 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.81 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

AngioDynamics expects full-year earnings in the range of 34 cents to 38 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $282 million to $288 million. AngioDynamics shares have risen roughly 3% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 47% in the last 12 months.
