The shocking vote of confidence came despite Mayor Eric Adams, who has repeatedly cozied up to Trump, also vying for re-election on an independent line in the general race. Adams has attacked Cuomo for staying in the race, claiming that he alone should be the one to take on Mamdani in November.

The former governor made his pitch to Wall Street, attacking Zohran Mamdani’s “unrealistic proposals and divisive agenda.”

Two out of the nine Jewish organizations listed as supporting Andrew Cuomo have stated that their endorsements applied only to the primary election and have not yet decided who to support in November.
