U.S. President Donald Trump has once again sent ripples of concern around Ukraine, this time by saying he "thinks" President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to give up occupied Crimea as part of a peace deal to end Russia's full-scale invasion.

Speaking to reporters, President Trump was asked about Crimea in resolving the Russia-Ukraine war. Shares of Toyota Industries jumped Monday after Japanese automaker Toyota said it was considering a potential buyout of the key parts supplier, which has a market value of 4 trillion yen ($28 billion).
