The Treasure Coast is under a heat advisory and many areas at “major heat risk” with heat index values expected to reach up to 108 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
The advisory goes into effect from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. for Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. Feels-like temperatures could reach the triple digits. This is expected for the entire weekend.
A few summery afternoon rain chances still pop up but a majority of our days will be mostly to partly sunny and very hot.
It will likely be even warmer this weekend, with widespread mid-90s expected and heat indices again approaching 108°.
