Dozens of U.S. ice cream producers are planning to remove artificial colors from their products by 2028, a dairy industry group and government officials said on Monday.

About 90% of U.S. ice cream producers will eliminate artificial dyes within three years as part of a voluntary initiative. This involves around 40 companies and aims to address health concerns, with new natural alternatives approved by the FDA.
