The Isopure Company LLC, a Hauppauge maker of sports drinks and protein powders, has been sold by its San Francisco parent company for $153 million to Glanbia Plc, an Irish nutrition conglomerate.
Irish dairy products group Glanbia said it had agreed to buy Isopure, a U.S. maker of protein shakes, in a $153 million deal that beefs up its fast-growing sports nutrition arm.
The collaboration launches with ISOPURE’s campaign, “EVERYTHING YOU NEED, NOTHING YOU DON’T”, highlighting the quality of its protein and the focus on simple, transparent, ingredient-led products.
