Authorities say two people were seriously injured in a crash after a man fled from law enforcement during a traffic stop on Monday.

A high speed police chase ended when the suspect's vehicle was sent into the air and crashed through the perimeter of an Air Force base.

As seen in the dashcam video police released, the Southfield man lost control of the SUV and crashed into a home. He left the car and tried to run away but was eventually taken into custody. Police found suspected cocaine and psilocybin mushrooms during the arrest.

Police in Wall Township responded to a 4:44 a.m. call from a residence on Baileys Corner Road. The caller said there was a burglary in process, the department said in a Facebook post.
