The nation’s top film critics have chosen to accept their mission to review Tom Cruise’s final (final?) time playing Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible. On Wednesday, Paramount lifted the review embargo on Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning,

“ Tom Cruise has done it again!” That’s the very early verdict from press screenings for the Hollywood icon’s latest film, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, with the film variously described as “astonishing,” “jaw-dropping,” “insane” and the “action movie of the summer.”

The four-time Oscar nominee was in the city as a recipient of the BFI's highest honor, the award of BFI Fellowship. To celebrate the occasion, Cruise took the stage at BFI Southbank for a conversation moderated by DJ and presenter Edith Bowman.
