So... the greatest threat looks to be heavy rain across parts of Florida & the Gulf Coast as well as a heightened rip current risk for the west coast of Florida & Panhandle & points west. If the disturbance trends more west, there will be an increased concern for impacts on water-logged Texas.

Some storms can drop well over 30 inches of rainfall, like when Hurricane Harvey dropped over 60 inches near Nederland, Texas, in 2017.
